Already after 3 months of regular use, clinical studies have shown a significant reduction in hereditary hair loss.

Unlike medicinal products, no undesirable side effects are to be expected with regular use. None were found in studies or reported by consumers so far.

You can easily combine the Caffeine DMG Shampoo and the Caffeine DMG Serum, but it's not absolutely necessary to use both products at the same time.

What's crucial is that your hair and scalp receive a daily dose of Caffeine DMG.

We recommend using the shampoo on days when you wash your hair and the serum on days when you don't.

No, the effectiveness of Alpecin Caffeine DMG Shampoo is primarily focused on the hair roots and is independent of hair length. Depending on the hair length, additional hair care should be applied.

1. The contained caffeine can counteract the negative effects of testosterone, effectively combating the cause of hereditary hair loss. The growth phases can be extended, making hair growth possible even into old age.
2. DMG promotes the vasodilation of capillaries. This enables better nutrient supply to the skin and hair roots.

The result: With proper and consistent use, Alpecin can effectively reduce hereditary hair loss and stimulate hair growth.

As a scientifically oriented company, Dr. Wolff places the highest value on sound research and evidence-based statements. We are currently a pioneer in the field of topical application of N,N-dimethylglycine (DMG). To generate valid and objective data, we rely on a high-quality study design. Our investigations – for example into the Alpecin Caffeine-DMG products – were therefore conducted in a placebo-controlled, randomised, and double-blind manner. A brief explanation of these terms:

• Placebo-controlled: One group receives the active ingredient formulation, another receives a placebo. This allows the actual effectiveness to be assessed objectively.
• Randomised: Allocation to the groups is made at random in order to avoid systematic bias.
• Double-blind: Neither the study participants nor the technical staff know who is receiving which treatment, ensuring unbiased results.

No. Grey Attack MAX Shampoo is not a classic colouring or hair tinting product and does not leave dark spots on the scalp or hands after shampooing.

To avoid discolouration, it is important to rinse the shampoo thoroughly out of the hair. We recommend using dark towels and removing any shampoo residue from surfaces immediately.

After completely drying the hair, no discoloration of clothing or headgear is to be expected - even if the hair gets wet again, e.g. when it rains or sweats.

The shampoo was specially developed for scalp hair. The colour effect can also develop in the beard hair if it is used over a longer period of time and the beard hair grows long enough.

The active 5,6DHI technology enables lasting repigmentation within the hair. The colour does not wash out; it grows out with your hair. Sweat, sports or swimming do not affect the result.
