Caffeine stimulates the hair root
Caffeine has been known for over 20 years for its growth-stimulating effect on hair roots. It inhibits the breakdown of the intracellular messenger cAMP. This provides cells with more energy and stimulates cell growth.
Caffeine is thus the most researched plant-based active ingredient against hereditary hair loss.
DMG promotes micro-circulation of the scalp
Micro-circulation is the foundation for healthy hair growth.
In areas affected by hair loss*, this is reduced to less than 40%.
5,6-DHI repigments the hair
5,6-Dihydroxyindole, or 5,6-DHI for short, is a precursor of the natural hair pigment melanin. When applied, 5,6-DHI attaches directly to the hair, penetrates the hair shaft, and forms colour molecule chains with oxygen within the hair. The hair becomes darker.
