FAQ Shampoos & Liquids: Frequently Asked Questions about our Products
FAQ: Hair Care with Caffeine
The Caffeine Complex is made up of Caffeine, zinc, and niacin:
- Caffeine strengthens, energizes and helps maintain healthy-looking hair.
- Niacin and zinc support energy metabolism and enhance the nutrient supply to the hair.
To keep hair healthy, daily application of the Caffeine complex is essential to nourish the hair effectively.
Alpecin's performance depends on regular use and the individual condition of the scalp. Additionally, factors such as physical strain, an unhealthy diet (e.g., excessive fast food), environmental toxins, psychosomatic issues, stress, vitamin deficiencies, or occupational factors (e.g., wearing a helmet) can weaken the hair.
Alpecin products are specifically designed to address the needs of men's hair and features a distinct, masculine fragrance.
However, the Caffeine Complex is beneficial regardless of gender, so Alpecin products can also be used by women with thinning hair.

FAQ: Caffeine Shampoo C1

This can increase the risk of scalp redness for sensitive scalps. Therefore, it is important to pay close attention to how your scalp reacts when you leave the product on longer. Normally, 2 minutes should be enough to energize the hair.
In our research, it was demonstrated that the sufficient amount Alpecin Caffeine can be detected in the hair after 120 seconds of application time which means there is no need to leave the product in for longer.
