5,6-DHI Repigments the Hair

5,6-Dihydroxyindole, or 5,6-DHI for short, is a preliminary stage of the natural hair pigment melanin. When applied, 5,6-DHI binds directly to the hair, penetrates the hair shaft, and forms color molecule chains in the hair with oxygen. The hair becomes darker.
