DMG: New: From Alpecin Research
Clinical efficacy study with a novel DMG and caffeine-containing hair care product shows tremendous effectiveness against hereditary hair loss
The double-blind, randomized, and placebo-controlled study on 154 men with hereditary hair loss. Conducted at the Centre for Cosmetic Research, Catholic University of Sacred Heart in Rome, Italy.
Until now, both the topical application and the effects of DMG on skin and hair cells were completely unexplored. Recent studies from a European research network now show that the microcirculation of the skin—meaning the blood flow in the smallest blood vessels—increases with the topical application of DMG and also provide insights into the mechanism of action of DMG in the cells.
