              Yes, Alpecin Grey Attack is suitable for daily hair washing. It reliably removes sebum and dirt from the hair and scalp. No additional shampoo is required to cleanse the hair. It is important to leave Grey Attack on for 2–5 minutes – from application to rinsing. 

              The result depends on the condition of the hair and the proportion of grey hair. The colour effect develops gradually and may become visible after 3–4 weeks of daily use.               5,6-DHI repigments the hair

              5,6-Dihydroxyindole, or 5,6-DHI for short, is a preliminary stage of the natural hair pigment melanin. When applied, 5,6-DHI binds directly to the hair, penetrates the hair shaft, and forms colour molecule chains in the hair with oxygen. The hair becomes darker.

              Caffeine stimulates the hair roots

              Caffeine has been known for more than 20 years for its growth-stimulating effect on hair roots. It inhibits the breakdown of the intracellular messenger cAMP. As a result, more energy is available to the cells and cell growth is stimulated.

              Caffeine is therefore the most researched active ingredient of plant origin against hereditary hair loss.

              Alpecin Grey Attack Shampoo gradually makes the hair appear darker. Depending on the original hair colour, the result may not meet your expectations, for example if the hair was previously blond and then appears darker.

              Alpecin Grey Attack Shampoo is not a conventional hair colourant and can therefore be used without concern about staining. Neither the scalp nor the hands are discoloured during hair washing. 

              To prevent staining of shower surfaces, washbasins or towels, any shampoo residue should be rinsed away thoroughly. Once the hair has been thoroughly rinsed and dried, no staining is to be expected. 

              Use Alpecin Grey Attack Shampoo daily and leave it on for two to five minutes – from application to rinsing. The longer the leave-in time, the more intense the colour effect can become. How quickly the effect becomes visible may vary depending on hair length and the original hair colour. In general, the first results can be seen after 3–4 weeks of daily use. 

              All Grey Attack shampoos contain the active ingredient 5,6-DHI, which gradually repigments grey hair and makes it appear darker again. Due to different active ingredient concentrations, the products differ primarily in their colour performance and in how quickly the first visible results are achieved: 

              Grey Attack offers strong colour performance. With daily use, grey hair appears visibly darker after approximately 3–4 weeks. 

              Grey Attack Plus offers extra-strong colour performance and delivers the first visible results after approximately 2–3 weeks.
