Alpecin Dandruff Killer Shampoo combats dandruff and soothes the scalp. Piroctone olamine works against fungi, yeasts, and bacteria, while fumaric acid facilitates the removal of existing dandruff. Silicone-free, for noticeably more grip.

  • Piroctone Olamine: The ethanolamine salt of a 2-pyridone derivative has fungicidal and antibacterial effects and is particularly effective against the yeast fungus Malassezia furfur.
  • Fumaric Acid: Fumaric acid is an active ingredient found in nature, for example, in plants like fumitory. It helps to normalise the shedding of skin flakes.
  • Panthenol: Pro-vitamin B5 or dexpanthenol increases skin moisture and thereby strengthens the skin barrier. It reduces itching and feelings of dryness.
  • Allantoin: Allantoin has multiple effects on the skin and scalp. In addition to its skin-soothing properties, it has a keratolytic effect, meaning it can remove the outermost skin flakes. Allantoin also increases skin moisture.
