The caffeine complex is an active ingredient formula from caffeine, the trace element zinc and niacin.

The effectiveness of Alpecin always depends on regular application and the individual constitution of the scalp. Additional factors can also speed up hair loss: physical strain, fast food, environmental toxins, psychosomatic problems, stress, vitamin deficiencies, occupational stress (e.g. wearing a helmet).

Available at Mannings and independent pharmacies

Since you ingest coffee orally, it will first pass through the gastrointestinal organs to be absorbed by the organism at a later time. Subsequently, it is distributed throughout the body and only a tiny quantity reaches the scalp and the hair roots directly. As a result, a local and direct supply of caffeine is meaningful and necessary. Even the consumption of 50 cups of coffee would not provide the hair roots with enough caffeine.

For a more intensive prevention effort, it makes sense to use both products. Especially for people who do not wash their hair on a daily basis, the additional use of Alpecin Liquid is by all means recommended.

Caffeine from coffee is not able to penetrate the scalp or the hair follicle. This requires a special carrier base (galenics) that transports the active ingredients to the location where they can develop their effect. Our scientists have researched this area for a long time, and they have now succeeded in developing a method for transporting caffeine all the way into the hair follicles.

Although shampoos were used almost exclusively to cleanse scalp and hair in the past, Dr. Wolff Research has now succeeded in developing a method for transporting caffeine all the way to the hair roots based on a shampoo formula.

The caffeine remains detectable for up to 24 hours. As a result, regular application of caffeine shampoo activates the hair roots in a sustainable manner, thereby creating the prerequisite for vigorous and healthy hair growth. Alternatively, you should massage Alpecin Liquid into the scalp on the days you do not wash your hair to provide your hair roots with sufficient growth energy.

Alpecin products were specifically developed for the requirements of male scalps, which is also reflected by the fragrance and the very masculine packaging. However, the caffeine-based active ingredient complex is also effective in women, so that the products can also be used by women.

If you have a tendency hair loss, application should start as early as possible, i.e. before the hair roots’ energy supply causes and shortens the hairs’ growth phases until they fall out prematurely.

The regular energy supply based on the caffeine complex extends the growth phases of the individual hairs, thereby facilitating hair growth well into old age. If the treatment is interrupted, these hair growth phases will shorten and the hair will fall out prematurely. As a result, successful prevention of hair loss must be conducted early, regularly and permanently.

There is no clear-cut dividing line. Cosmetic dandruff usually occurs across the entire scalp. Dandruff is somewhat larger for oily scalps and primarily small for dry scalps.
You may be suffering from psoriasis, if dandruff occurs in very limited skin areas.
On the scalp, dandruff will often manifest itself in the peripheral hair growth areas such as around the ears and in the back of the neck. Frequently, increased dandruff also occurs in other areas of the body, such as the elbows or the legs.

Dandruff episodes are due to special sensitivity of the scalp.
For instance, at the start of the heating season, the dry ambient air can cause increased dandruff.
If the occurrence of dandruff remains permanent, it can be interpreted as a dermatological symptom, e.g. for psoriasis. In that case, you should consult a physician.

A very long time ago, sebum was meant to waterproof the hair and skin and protect humans from the cold. Since humans wear clothes, this function has become superfluous. In addition, germs and microorganisms that naturally occur on the skin use sebum as a source of nutrition. Degradation products of sebum irritate the skin, make it itch and accelerate the formation of the keratinous layer. The consequence is dandruff. Due to subsequently released sebum, these skin cells stick together to form large, visible skin flakes.
